Can anyone help me? I got a divorce lost my job due to my ex hounding me at work and she got everything. The land and house. Im at my wits end. I have been looking for a job but no luck. Only income is not secure/odd construction jobs for a damily of 9. Poverty level and in remote location. We desperately need only this assistance in charity. Homesteading, almost off the grid, harvest out own food on our property, receives food stamps and medi-cal but nothing else, per our choice. in response to JayJay62389...We have all made mistakes with credit cards, you are not alone. First off, regardless of what the credit card companies collections tells you, they can not just seize your check. This is a threat they use very often even though it is against federal law. The company needs to sue you first. Due to the level of balance on the card this would take place in small claims court. The court proceeding would take no more than 20 minutes and a judgment will be filed against you. However, even with the judgement, they have to wait 30 days to execute on the judgement. During this time you can actually sit down and negotiate a deal to pay towards your debt that fits within your budget.
It is a minimum of 40 days from the date you are served with the lawsuit until they can even think about touching your paycheck. (I've been down this road before so I speak from experience.)
As for the hospital bill, send them $25 a month until you can pay more. As long as you send them something each month, they won't bother you. (Again, I've been down this road as well.)
I owe a lot of money in taxes and I'll never get out of debt without a better job. I need to go to school but I don't know if I can get a loan since I owe so much. Any ideas?

I'm only 22 yrs old when i was 18 i made a horrible choice to obtain a credit card i had used the card while i was suspended from work to help pay bills for car phone and weekly supplies that my check would have paid for. I was no where near knowledgeable of how credit cards worked i had not cancelled my card and it collected late payment charges along with interest now its $2400 and they are trying to seize my checks from work i live pay check to check and its still not nearly enough. I was also in the hospital that yr which i had not had insurance i owe them 1g as well. This past yr me and my bf were forced to move out of our apartment due to condemned building. we were than left with 5 days to remove all of our stuff or risk being arrested we had left a lot of our stuff there and were left with no where to live. I had to spend all my checks on hotels, food and gas. That resulted in my phone bill racking up to $950. I need help please someone pray for me.

I am employed FT...I work extremely hard and live paycheck to paycheck....I was injured just before Thanksgiving this year, was forced to go into work by my supervisors as I am a member of management further injuring myself but no way to prove it. I cant work again until I am released by my doctor to do 100% of my duties yet my short term disaability is stalled due to my doctor not properly completing the paperwork, I make too much to get assistance (even though I am maing nothing all this month) I have used all of my vacation and my sick time, I have no way to pay my rent $750, my power almost $300 (yes its been freezing and I live in a old doublewide), my cell phone almost $150 because Verizon cant verify I am still employed for my discount...total $1200...basically all bills I normally pay and have enough left for food and fuel....fortunately I am a mild food horder so I have plenty to get by....I normally am able to give soo much to those in need at this time of year through $$$ donations, helping with food and cooking at the shelters, this year I cant so I am so happy to see that contributions are up from years past. I could repay any help received or pay it forward once back to work but I am hoping and praying for my own Christmas miracle this year. My Name is Rye, I am a full time college student who has been applying for jobs since July. I live with my mother who works 40 hours a week and no matter how hard we try we cannot seem to pay all the bills, last night our Gas was shut off this is our only form of heating in our house, and i have a storage unit and our furniture bill is due. the total amount due is 800.00. Thank you for your kind-hearted post!Please refer to the attached link.A few months ago, I made every effort possible to help this Aidpage member find alternative transportation to and from his Doctor’s appointments besides the Veterans bus.Using this form of transportation takes about 3 to 4 hours roundtrip for each Doctor’s visit.He has endured multiple skin grafts, which has made his skin highly sensitive.Being in a sitting position for long periods of time causes damage to his skin.Unfortunately, I was unable to get find him the help he needs.Perhaps you can contact him directly in a one-to-one message to let him know about it.
This is a great space, if I ever won the lottery, I'd love to come back here and help. But right now, we need help. Last year we had to move back to TN from Ohio due to loss of jobs. We didn't have a choice and moved into a house my cousin owned which should have been condemned. It had electrical problems, mold, etc.. My husband found a fantastic job and I got one part time, working when he was at home so one of us could be with our 10 year old son. This year, the heat went bad and we received an $800 electric bill. Since we were living paycheck to paycheck, I could not pay rent and electric. The landlord (yes, my wonderful cousin) refused to make any repairs except the heating unit, but I lost my job a couple of weeks later. Since then, we've been evicted, owe $700 to the electric company and are currently living in an extended stay motel room and being eaten alive by bedbugs. We can't save anything since all of his paycheck goes to pay the rent here. Now, I've just found out that I'm pregnant (yes we were using birth control, it's not 100% effective). No insurance, and I'm high risk with severe anemia, my age (46) and the fact I had an IUD. We need to find a nice safe place for our children, but can't save anything. We need around $2000 to pay off the electric and pay a 1st months plus deposit. Can anyone out there help?

How do you ask the private sector of people for Help When you don't know who you are writing too and you need financial Help FFast? I was deemed disabled 7 yrs. ago and could not work any longer. My body is shutting down but I love life to much to give up But how do you tell creditors, power co., and the list goes on that you can't pay this month? Even the veternarians will not extend credit in the event your precious animal gets sick.(I rescue sick and abandoned animals and find them loving homes) I have not even thought of asking the Lord for help for myself, he has always provided for me in one way or another. Please help!!!Any financial help would help.
I have just found my son after 18 years of waiting, he was left with his abusive alcoholic grandmother by his crack addicted mother. The drunken grandmother furthered the abuse and he was placed into foster care. Now that i have found him he wants to come live with me and im happy to have him, he has some issues but the love i have for him is what he needs. I have purchased train tickets using my rent and cable money, my problem is that i have to spend 2 nights in minneapolis and provide gas money to relatives for driving and other thins that go with travel and im broke, if i could find someone to loan me 500$ i could pay it back at 50 to 100 dollars a month. I want to be with my boy more than anything and am doing everything i can to make it happen. Hi I've just about tried everything I know about so that's why I am now on here. We need help we live in Hawaii. And yes everyone from the mainland is usually like oh your in paradise. Yes and no. It's beautiful but when you have been born and raised here and have leaved always below poverty most of your childhood and now doing the same with your own children, the palm trees slowly disappear, and the colors in the sunset aren't so bright anymore. The cost of living over here is thee craziest. I keep hearing everyone talking about how expensive a gallon of gas is in the mainland, we are almost at 5.00 a gallon of REGULAR. And it has not been at 3. In over a year. For rent I paid 1250.00 for a two bedroom apt. And I thought that was a good deal. I soon moved with my father after that and together we payed 1475.00 for a 3 bedroom house and that was a steal. Will I guess what I'm trying to say is any kind of help anyone out there can help me with will be very very much appreciated. Just to tell everyone a little about my family, Im 27 year old single mother of 3 beautiful girls. I once had a great and perfect all American but in a Hawaiian kind of twist family. I had great credit a great husband, great kids, a great house that we where buying, great cars. Of course my husband left me and my kids for someone else, he was the provider so I lost my home to fore closer and my car got repo I basically lost everything but my children. Along with him leaving me I was also became a victim of violence from him I think because he new he had done wrong and really screwed up he took it out on me. I am 30 wks pregnant and Diabetic, which means I have a lot more doctor visits then normal. I will be raising my son on my own, but I am in need very badly. I am on Social Security- I do what I can to pay my bills, but because my obgyn is in the town over it cost a lot in gas to get to my appointments. I have been to the food shelters each month but still I am in need. I am very stressed because I 'am doing this alone. I need help badly... If any could help I would be greatful...

I am a 28 year old single mother with 2 children. Recently, I've been depressed because of my medical bills, school loans, and credit card bills. I own my own home and can't refinance because my house is worth less than I owe.. I have no problem paying my mortgage but I got had to take some time off work because of 2 major surgeries I just had and used up the leftover money on my credit cards for food and bills. My surgeries costed $700 each and I need additional surgery and my ENT won't even see me until I've paid the $1400 in full. I am a single parent mom and I have been since 1997. It been good days and bad days. I am now facing so bad days. My son was sentence to life for a case and DNA showed some one else did the crime however he was still sentence to life. He is only 24 years old. I pray and cry and pray and cry about the problem. Sometimes I just want to give up. I have pull all of my money out of the bank for lawyer fees and I have no more and I still need to eat and feed my other kids. I have to pay the lawyer more money now for my son appeal and I do not know what I am going to do. Stress make me not want to get out of bed sometimes.
